You've been invited to join us for our wedding
Lesley came into our lives through Caleb (see below).
Andrew first met Lesley in 2019 when she dropped Caleb off at the airport for one of Andrew's first solo flights as a pilot. With a warm smile, she jokingly asked Andrew not to kill Caleb, and he kindly obliged.
In early 2022 Jessica was introduced to Lesley by their then boyfriends. At the time, Elena was only a few months old, so instead of going out Lesley and Caleb kindly visited the hotel and talked the night away!
We've shared incredible adventures together, exploring the breathtaking landscapes of Scotland, the vibrant culture of Ireland, and the stunning beauty of Jamaica for Lesley and Caleb's 2023 wedding.
Choosing Lesley as our MC was an easy decision. She was there when we got engaged, knows us as a couple and as a family, and is one of the few people we know who is completely at ease with public speaking.
Lesley is passionate about travel, baseball, and of course, Caleb. Ask her about her favourite whiskey.
Daughter of the bride and groom! She loves Paddington, dinos, and Frozen. And Nemo. And Moana. Big time into cherry tomatoes, Eggos, and food in general. She has a newly discovered love of bugs. She might sing for you, but will be more likely to "rawr" at you.
She has been with the bride since 1991 and still counting. A talented dancer, just don’t ask her to do tap. Unless she’s on a stage, she is the actual introvert of the group (despite what Caleb may tell you). A mum of two, creative screen printer, and soon to be Elena’s dance instructor. She is also the reason the bride is scared of squirrels.
An RN classmate turned lifelong friend, Lisa and the bride bonded over a mutual love of delivering babies in 4th year nursing. This came full circle when Lisa was present for the birth of Elena, as the bride/groom’s extra support person. A brilliant and creative baker (of our wedding cake and more), RN, Mum to 3 humans and 2 fur babies, and most recently a podcaster.
*cough* Baking Scraps on Spotify *cough*
She and the bride met in grade 7, bonded over figure skating and a love of cheese - the rest is history. They may have stalked Kurt Browning a little bit one time. She and the bride seem to do most things together - each have purchased homes, got engaged, and now have been married, each within 2-3 months of each other. She is a wonderful mother & wife, lover of wine, and fan of Dick Van Dyke.
Younger brother of the bride. Once agreed he would not get bigger than his sister. A favourite childhood memory is making fridge boxes into spaceships and sneaking out of the house (only we couldn't get back in!). When he isn’t traveling for work, he’s spending time with his lovely girlfriend, step-daughter, and Husky pup. He has a wonderfully dry sense of humour, but do not ask him what he thinks unless you want an honest answer - he’ll tell you!
She met the bride in nursing school in 2012. They bonded over a quiet meditation moment in the forest before a major exam in first year. Many study groups were hosted in Shulin's home, and "catered" by her dad. She and the bride share a love for artistic moments, sushi, and an all time classic TV show, Friends. A creative soul, loving mum, brilliant RN, and secret makeup artist. Ask about her first bonfire experience.
Younger brother of the groom. Spends the majority of his spare time Hey Y'all in hand, approvingly admiring his freshly cut grass. Roofer by trade but professional race car driver at heart.
No introduction needed, I'm sure he's told you already. Fellow junior football comrade turned software salesman. Ask him if his software is right for you, your company probably isn't large enough though.
Most recent addition the the groomsman bunch (8yrs) after he invited a lowly stranger from the beer league hockey team sleep on his floor for 4 months. The CPA of the bunch, ask him why he can’t be trusted filing your taxes.
Another Trojan Football lifelong friendship. The conversationalist of the group and the reason that every outing need not be forgotten. He is apparently an introvert, but you be the judge.
A fellow Centra Windows lifetime achievement award winner. Met the groom while swinging hammers on the construction site, and have been comparing ever since. Lord of the dad jokes long before he earned it.
